It’s as if we are swimming in place…we can see where we want to go, but we are caught in the riptide and can’t seem to get “there.” Sometimes entering a new season or a major life transition, we find ourselves grasping tighter to unhealthy old patterns. Unfortunately, if we feel “stuck” for too long, we may begin to develop more acute anxiety, patterns of avoidance, hopelessness, depression, frustration, illogical fears, ambivalence, lack of motivation, procrastination techniques and self-doubt.
